Trying to buy a new 2003 screw 5.4L. Drove 3 different trucks, all were fine. The one I wanted has a loud engine noise, especially when a laod is put on the engine such as going up a hill the engine pings a little. I have a truck with a 4.6 and runs great very quiet. Also the other 5.4 did not run this way. Any help?

 

Well if it concerns you than i would walk away from it. It will only bother you more down the road when you hear that noise everyday. Ask if you can get one ordered in with what you want. Or try and get a good deal on one of the other two trucks.
