A/C quit working!??

My a/c is not working. It does'nt blow any air out. I hit mac a/c and can hear it come on, but no air comes out. So I tried to heat, same thing. I've checked all the fuses, and they all look good. Should I just replace them anyway. Any suggestions?

No, don't replace your fuses.

You can't feel air coming out any vent (defrost, floor, panel), but you hear the blower running?

Looking at the schematic for my 98, it doesn't look like the control doors can get into a position where air won't come out SOMEWHERE. Do you feel air coming in when you drive at speed?

If the fan motor is turning but you're not getting air, either your intake is blocked or the squirrel cage has come off the motor shaft....or something else...

If you are under warranty take it to the dealer.

Mine is an '02 so I have the EATC unit. No air comes out, defrost, floor, panel, etc. Also, I can't hear the blower come on, what I meant was that when I hit max a/c the idle changes, and I guess its the compressor kicking in. The blower is definitley not coming on. I should be under warranty considering I only have 3600 miles, but I'm not exactly stock.
But if I can't figure it out on my own, I'll have to take it by the dealer.

Sounds like your blower motor is not operating. Check its fuse, then check at the blower motor. Without checking Alldata on the diagram, I would check the power to the blower motor. I think its controlled on the ground side by the EATC module. Those can be a pain to figure out, better off the Un-mod and take it to Ford. If you still want to figuire it out yourself, email me, and I will send you the Diagram. Just let me know what year, model ect.

Take it to the dealer. So long as you haven't modified the a/c system, it's covered.
