This is the first one that I tried a serious amount on the road, the K&N FIPK
Did good, but I started looking for better. :

This is the second one, the ROUSHFAN-1 intake, using a cut down WMS V-Tube and a JLP Air Ram air box, with dual 3" brake duct hoses feeding it. :

This is the last setup the K&N FIPK throttle body Elbow, and the 12" filter off the JLP kit. Kind of the same deal as an AF-1 if memory serves me correctly. :

This setup has a higher flow rate then the JLP and K&N unit in the under 50 mph area, and a higher flow rate in the over 50 MPH area when compared to the K&N FIPK. The JLP setup did flow more in the over 60 mph area ( 50 to 60 is almost a dead even match ), but it was not a great a gain as one would think.

Just a few ideas, the posts should start flowing anytime now.

Good luck.

question?

I see all your intakes and they look good. I have one question, What happens to the stock air flow sensor? Does that thing come out of that housing?, or do the new intakes come with new air flow sensors? ile have a pick of my mod pretty soon

If you look at Habibi's picture the MAFS is from the stock housing, and it is right after the blue coupling, with the 2 SS hose clamps and the mounting bracket that the filter is on.

Here are the links to the K&N directions I took pictures of them :

This is the stock MAFS from the stock intake. It is a a mod that you can reverse if needed.

Thank you very much for that info. I am just putting on a filter that goes onto a full intake system, but im not going to do the full intake because i cant afford. That is going to make my mod a hella lot easier. Thanx

Lariat1, I thought the Iceman system was sealed all the way to the fender port. Did you elect to remove the clean side of the filter housing, or is that the way the kit came? I was contemplating the IceMan because like Volant, it seems to be a better "Cold" air soloution.

Yes, I have taken the filter side off. But I still have it to use , when I need to. I will have to paint it to match the rest(graphite), later for that. I really like this set-up. I also have a ram air tube that runs to the back side of the air filter from the front bumper opening. This helps out on the highway.

Do you have any pictures of your ram air setup?, if not, pictures of the parts?
