While at work, I was looking for plugs for my 00 4.6 auto 2wd w/ no mods. Many of you recommended Motorcraft. When I searched for Motorcraft plugs, we don't carry the OEM ones (guess that is from the dealer only), however, we did carry 2 more part #'s from Motorcraft but neither was in stock.

So, my question is, do any of you have the part # for the plugs you all are using?

Yeah, not as much as Champion or Bosch, but we have about 15-20 different part #'s.


Do they not where you are at? I have noticed a big difference in the items we carry just between stores in the same region, heck, just 5 miles apart.

 

I just go to the Ford parts counter and ask for the double plats. Then again, I get them for cost.

Can you get me 8 of them at your cost. I would like the OEM replacements for now.

i just put Autolite Double Plats in my '99 last week. They may be an alternative to the Motorcraft. What ever you get, make sure they are the double plats, you'll like them a lot.

 

That's cool just don't make the same mistake I made! I just got my mustang and decided to try some badass plugs, or so i thought. I bought the Bosch platinum plus 4. 8 of them at almost $8 each. What a mistake! I noticed no improvement. Oh well lesson learned the hard way lol. Stick with the basic plats or double plats almost ne brand is just as good.
