I work for a company that gets X-Plan pricing and that doesn't fit the format of the number I received. Yours has too many digits. It is possible that they changed. Even with a X-Plan pin, you are still required to provide your ssn so they can verify your employment. It's possible to slip something by, but who knows.
i thought x plan is for family and friends of ford employees. you dont have to be an actual employee. can someone verify that??? the A plan is for employees so i would think they would need a ssn. someone help..
also, what program did you use to do your picture?? thanks

You don't need x-plan right now.
First off, x-plan is for members of the Ford Partnership Program. Companies and organizations that are part of this program can extend the x-plan benefit to their members.
A,D and Z-plan are plans for Ford employees, dealership employees and retired Ford employees.
An x-plan pin can only be given to another family member. Your friend can not give you one.
A,D and Z are the same way with even more restrictions than x-plan.
That all being said, x-plan price on a new F250 PSD is only about $200 less than invoice.
With the economy like it is right now there is absolutely no reason you shouldn't get invoice or less than invoice pricing on new vehicles right now short of a Lightning, Cobra or T-bird.
I just left a Ford dealer in Austin and we were quoting $500 under invoice all day long for 6.0 liter PSD's (King Ranches included) on our internet site.
If they want your business, and they do right now, they will give you invoice pricing or better. And make them show you the actual invoice. They have to if you ask.
Good luck.

Invoice
I don't know if being in Socal makes any difference. PSD's could be selling like crazy down there and the dealers may not be willing to deal as much.
But, there is about $1400 in holdback and another $300 in advertising that the dealer makes even if they sell at invoice. There is no reason they shouldn't give you invoice pricing on the vehicle. It's not like it's a limited production vehicle. There are thousands of those trucks out there to be bought.
What you may want to do is go to www.forddirect.com and build the exact truck you are looking at. Then you can send quote requests to all the dealers in your area. Their internet departments will get the quote requests and you will get responses back. I almost guarantee you will get a quote at or below invoice pricing.
Good luck.
