well i broke the side of the distributor while tring to drill out the broken off dist cap screws...

it is cob jobbed for now with a bolt nut and washers...but i know it needs to be changed

ive had the whole distributor out of my 302 b4 when doing my oil pump so i could see from up top so i know how to mark it and all but i want to know what else i should know...

does this distributor have the shaft running to the oil pump like my 302 had?

i am really nervous about dropping this shaft into the pan...i dont have the money to take it to a garage so i plan to do it myself but i dont want to fudge it up

Yes, it does , but the shaft comes out with the dist. on the 4.9.
