If its not one thing its another

After replacing the battery yesterday with a new one, my truck now stalls when I come to a stop. It has never done this before with the old battery. It will Idle in the park position and also if it is in gear. It is just when I am driving and come to a stop and the RPM's drop. It is a 97' F-150, 4.6L. Does anyone have suggestions on this?? Also is there a place on the web to goto and download a service maneul?? Thanks Jon

Have you had your alternator checked? Perhaps the battery died because the alternator was bad. If the alternator has low output and the engine is running mainly off the battery, it would cause the truck to run just like you describe.
