Tek Question

Hi,

If I want to have my cats flow tested the next time im in for service, how long does this test take, and what would I expect to pay. (I don't know how long it takes)

Don't know about having them flow tested,but you can have a backpressure test done on them with a back pressure gauge screwed into the upstream O2 sensor ports. This will tell you if the cat's are restricted. Backpressure should be around 1-2 PSI......anything higher than that the cat's/exhaust are restricted. Shouldn't cost anymore that an hours labor to do this. Hope this helps!
