ive noticed when i shut off the engine right around the throttle body, there's a hissing sound that last for about 5-10 seconds, what the hell is that ?

its that small valve(whos name I can't begin to think of...DPFE?) thats located on the drivers side front of the t/b where you see the green and white vac line attach too...sticking out from under the t/b cover
TexfordD is close to the right name. In Haynes they call it the EVR solenoid. It helps control the Egr valve. I've also noticed some sound and gurgle form what I guess is the cooling system too.
I hope so, mine has done it from day one, if it is the same sound I am having.
With the FIPK it shounds like an exhale noise ( louder ) then with the stock intake on it.
When I shut off the truck, the noise happens at the same rate as the vac gauge drops to 0, once the vac gauge is burried, the noise stops.
Again if this is the same noise that is.
