Thank you, thank you, thank you.

dirt bike dave, leanNcut, BlueOvalFilter,

I just checked my mpg today and it came in at 14.2. I was running 12.5 before I cleaned my MAF. The number is a little hight because I ran low on gas while I was out of town and filled up with regular gas. I expect to drop a bit on the next tank of reformulated. I will drop in and post those numbers in a week or so just to make a fair comparison.

I now see how cleaning the MAF makes a difference, and just how quick and easy it is. I will make a regular habit of it. I suppose I can look around for that electric contact cleaner too.

Nice clean job under the hood there Orlando! I'd change out the radiator hose also

Thumbs up

I had a bad MAF and it was sucking gas pretty bad. I noticed the difference even though I don't track my mileage. I got a new one and the problem was solved. Cleaning delayed the inevitable though. Brake cleaner sounds a little caustic, like it could melt certain electrical parts?
I'd stick with a electric contact cleaner or windex. Q-tips don't leave strands unless you really get careless Glad to hear you got it figured out!,,,,98
