Does any one know if 4.6 and 5.4 have the same Half Shaft and Throttle body?

I bought a 5.4 Half Shaft and Throttle body on ebay and planning to port and polish it. but i am not sure if it woould fit on my 4.6

HI!... Both the 5.4 and the 4.6 use the same 70mm TB.

Would the 5 mm increase in size w/o porting/polishing increase throttle sensitivity, or would it, in your opinion, be a waste of money? I was thinking of purchasing a BBK or Edlebrock (75mm) unit.

Mf150, I have a polished 75mm BBK TB sitting on a polished and ported 2001 intake. If you have the right stuff, it is not that hard to do but of course you must take the TB apart. Unless you are getting a blower down the road, I think I would save the money on the BBK. Here is a picture of my piece. I don't even want to tell you how many hours went into it!
