Need Help

My friend & I restored a 1978 Ford F150 with dual gastanks.

My problem is he went up north to work and left me the truck.
Today the wife took teh car so I fired up the truck and brought it to work. Well, I remember my buddy (Jeff) saying one of the tanks has a leak. The gauge is on 'E' I'm at the gas station and put $5 in just to make er to work and back.

On side drivers side of the box, there are 2 gas tanks, one near the cab, the other near the back. Can somebody tell me which is the Aux tank and the Main tank? THe main one is with the leak.

Thanks

Dave

On my old '72. the main was behind the seat and the aux. tank was was further back. On my friends '97, his main tank is the one forward, and the aux. is the one in the back. I would think that yours is probably the same.
