Morning Everyone, I need help....
My 1998 reg cab f150 has a leaking rear sliding window.
Ford told me that they changed the design of the window because of that problem.. We'll I ordered a new window from
ford and the problem I have is this. When the stock window came
out the window sat on these two little clips, We'll the new window does not have the slots so the clips rest in there???
Any idea? Everything else lines up perfect, the bolts and everything...

I had the same problem, had it fixed under warranty. Sorry about your problem and hope someone on this site has done this repair and can help you out.

 

I had the same problem with my 97. Ford wouldnt replace it under warranty so i ordered a cr lawarence back glass from the parts house. I got them to order it as dark tinted as possible. That was bout a year and a half ago and have had no problems since.
