oil loss

well according to the dealer, they found oil on my #1 spark plug.
so they changed the pcv valve?? and that should fix it????WHAT???
After i heard that i almost fell over, is this not the most absurd thing you've heard?? i must be not up to date with these new engines huh?

then they tell me i should change the plugs cause of the oil fouled one. wouldnt that be part of the repair process?

and of course i need front brakes there not safe...

oh my original problems were smoke (blue) on start up, harsh downshifts, and a whirring type noise when started up.

so can a bad pcv cause the blue smoke and spark plug fouling?

absolutely!

the PCV is more important than most people think. make sure your dealer also checks the inlet hose on the other side, because if the PCV was clogged it might have clogged the inlet too.
