Not sure if this is the right place to post this question or not...but here goes...

My parents have a 1994 Chevy 1500 V6 4.3L PU and they need to replace the starter on it...

Is it the long sleeve or short sleeve one?

A Chebby! Actually I don't know, but my friend who is a Chebby man is comming over tonight. I'll ask him and if I remember I will let you know. If there is someone else who knows now, by all means have the first crack at it.

I told my parents to get under the truck and remove the 2-4 bolts holding it up, and take it in the parts store and compare it with both the long and short sleeve...since no one has any idea

I am sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I asked him, but ironically he didn't know, so you did the most sensible thing.
