That's a pretty good price but I'm looking for the FMS spark plug wires. Anybody got these?

$66.00 a set isn't bad. I paid $72.00 for Borg Warners. The dealer wanted $78.00 a set for Motorcrafts. Only problem is waiting for them to be delivered and shipping costs bringing the price ever closer to the dealers price.

Borg Warner - Great wires, but not in my 4.6 [/B]
Sorry to hear that the Borgs let you down, but you are NOT out the $$$. Borg Warner wires carry a LIFETIME warranty. If the place you bought them stonewalls you, email me and I WILL personally straighten it out. No receipt, no problem. No box, no problem. Reading back, I see it's been some time. IF you still have the wires, they can be warrantied.

One other thing concerning the Borg vs. Motorcraft wire debate, the Motorcrafts NORMALLY come with the dielectric grease already applied to the inside of the boots on both ends. Borg Warner supplies a small tube of the grease ( provided in hasn't been pilfered by some a-hole ) in the box. If you don't use the grease, you will almost certainly run into the problem of corrosion or rust at the plugs and/or the coil packs. Permatex and AGS as well as others sell tubes of dielectric grease. Pick some up, you be surprised how often you use it once you have it.

Nuff said, thanks,

Keith

The BW's I just put in actually had two tubes of lube in the box. A small clear packet which I assume was from BW and a small tube of Permatex. Gone were the clip on terminals at the coils, BW had a note in the box saying the clip ons were obsolete. Anyway, so far, so good.
