out P/Ming the truck today and hear this wierd noise on drivers side.....kinda like a blow by sound on a plug...I'm freeking out....so I go get my mechanics stethoscope(3/8" fuel line about 2 foot long) stick it down along the plugs and up to my ear but no sound..now to the injectors and walla #2 is making that noise...off to the parts house tommorrow for a new injector

That "stetoscope" thing is a good idea. Now I'll know what to do if I hear that dreaded "sound" (after I sh$t a brick)

oh yeah a trick my dad showed me many moons ago also you can take a long extension and put it on head bolts or other areas and hear inside the motor,just put the end of the extension on the pad of your thumb and stick the first knuckle up to the bone just in front of your ear canel...try it
