This reminds me of the kid that bought a Superchip with his dads credit card. He told lots of stories for a long time, he got caught and apologized and turned out to be a good kid. Hopefully this one turns out the same. Everyone deserves the benefit of doubt but when the BS starts to fly look out!

Another option
If you just want to have a vehicle for fun, save the Mercedes and go buy yourself an old Ford Ranger. You should be able to pick up an 83-85 2wd for about $800. Drop the 302 in that (conversion kits are available) and have a ***** load of fun!!
