I DID do a search and didn't find anything that matched...

After smelling coolant after I get out of the truck, I found that it was dripping down the rear of the engine. Its running down
the front of the transmission on the passenger side. None on the oil pan but directly behind it on the tranny bell housing. I got under with a flash light but couldn't tell where exactly it was coming from. Head gasket???

1 place to check is the heater hose above the # 4 coil. The head gaskets are know to leak but usually leak oil.

 

Checked both hoses running into the firewall but they appear dry. Freeze plug perhaps? I can see one through the passenger side wheel well. Are there others on the passenger side rear of the motor?
