my dad has a 98 f150 4.6l auto. His check engine light is on and giving a code that says egr low air flow. he has taken the throttle body apart and cleaned it and the egr. what else could cause this? This board has been invaluable in helping me with my 97. thanks

 

Perhaps the piping to the EGR valve has gotten clogged. Pull the tube off and see if you can get airflow through it.

i could be the dpfe sensor bad my 97 4.6 is doing the same thing. i did replace the sensor in my truck about 25,000 miles ago but its doing the same thing again. my truck runs great and idles good so this time im not sure. so you might want to check that as the sensor i hear is CRAP!!!!!! HOPE THAT HELPS and any help with my problem would be appreciated
