You know I had that same problem with my 01', 5.4, Sup. Crew and all I did was add fuel injector cleaner to my gas at fill up. It fixed that problem quickly. And when it starts acting silly I just add the cleaner and it stops for about three or four months.

Might try it, its cheaper than taking it to the shop ! I think my problem had to do with cheap gas.

The only gas available in my town is Mobile,Chevron,Shell,Texaco and 76. Trust me I have tried them all and I also had the injectors cleaned. It doesen't matter anymore, It's Ford's problem now.

I have an '89 model f 350 with the 351 motor and having problems starting when engine is warmed up. It acts as though the battery is dead but when it's cools off it fires right up.i have changed battery starter and starter solenoid replaced positive and negative cables all the way through checked the timing. Any other ideas?
