Hey again!

My truck has been making a squeeling sound. I took it to a shop and they said it was the manifold gasket. They quoted me a price to fix it and it was $280.

Im wondering if what they call a manifold gasket is the same thing that I know as a donut gasket. It costs about $3 and really isnt very difficult to change. Ive done them with my dad before.

Is it just me or does something not seem right?

 

Sounds like they are talking about an intake manifold gasket and I don't think that will be just an o ring.
