I bought a 2003 SCab 2 years ago that had 186K on it, it was also my first Ford and the old beast impressed me. Ran like a champ, but the rust at all the usual places drove me nuts. Since the rust was my only complaint, I decided to get a 2015+ but they were outta my price range. Found a 2015 SCrew on New Years Eve that already had 112K on the clock putting in my price range. A week later it was at the dealer under their 30 day used car warranty getting a new rear end. Glad I caught the problem so quickly and I bet the dealer hopes to never see my face again. lol

Well, I was a member of this club until recently. Sadly, I had to trade in my ol' "Clifford" (named by my daughter when I bought it in 1999) Clifford was a 2000 F 150, 5.4 Triton, 4x4, Bright Red Clearcoat, and was a great truck! Soo many wonderful memories made with that truck and had 174, 500 miles. ! The "new" replacement is a 2015 FX4 with the 2.7 Ecoboost. Still trying to come up with a name. lol

2005 5.4 XLT with 186,600 miles

No major problems yet, but I may see a couple on the horizon.
Most serious repair has been a broken overdrive servo retaining clip, which I fixed myself.
I should have done a complete timing job on it at about 140,000 miles or earlier.
I'm excited to drive it into the ground. I don't see much logic in a $2000+ for a repair now so I'll probably buy a new one when that happens.
Driven pretty hard in the city 1/2 the time. 1/4 time city highway driving. 1/4 time long distance highway driving.

2001 F150 screw 4x4....Im still going at about 240K , I just had to swap out the coil pack on number 4 after many days of crazy rain. not sure if the water played a part but i had replaced the coils around 160K shortly after i got it .

My 2012 5.0 has 204k right now.

I ran my 4.6 Triton to 270.3k miles and I sold it. I had to use 5w30 in it for the last 100k miles due to consumption. It used about a 1/2 quart every 3500 miles with 5/30, which is pretty good, considering.

I used Mobil 1 extended and used a UOA report from Blackstone Labs showing 12k was its limit, but it ended up coking the rings anyway, causing a lot of oil consumption to where it never fully recovered. No more of this, ever. I tried Marvel Mystery oil and Rislone and other more potent stuff and it cut the consumption back to where it always hovered in at 1/2 quart/3.5k. Before it got on the consumption bandwagon, it used a 1/2 Quart every 12k miles of Mobil 5w20 - at 180k miles.

The only major problem with the Triton was a CEL come on for Bank 1 indicating a vacuum leak. The long term fuel trim showed + 20 percent on that bank and the ECM couldn't compensate anymore, hence the lean code for that bank. About a 12 hour job for me, with me recovering from Carpal tunnel surgery. Talk about a pain in the .......wrist .....Lol.

‘99 with the original 5.4 rocking a steady 332,000. Still runs like a champ, although it developed hybrid abilities. She burns both gas and oil. A lot of oil...

I have read a lot of posts about how bad these trucks are and was just wondering how many of us are in the 100,000 miles club (160,900 kilometers for those outside the u.s.).
It is generally accepted that 100,000 miles is a measure of a good vehicle. My truck idles steady at 600 rpm and continues to pull hard.
