how good are the jba headers for a 4.2l, are they worth the money

 

i wouldnt mess with em....if the headers were worth it.....a lot more members would have them..........if u noticed.....many people have chips only b/c they are well worth it....only my 2 cents

 

If you are serious about customizing your truck then they are worth it, but some people just don't have the money for them and choose not to get them.
The JBA headers will give you about 20 hp bolt on. Plus it will give your 4.2 a deeper and more aggressive tone for the exhuast. I'm getting ready to put some on mine along with the other mods I have already.

If you are just looking for a little extra horse power here and there then go for the intake, chip, cat back system, and some other little mods.

Just from my point of view.

I say they are worth it for the tone they will make on the exhaust but for startes I would go with a chip a cat back system and the K&N filter kit.
