Patrick, please e-mail me via f150online. Currently I am hoping to collect enough info to get our money reimbursed by FORD. This has happened to me as well with only just over 100,000 miles. In fact, anyone who has had this coolant leak problem, please e-mail me as soon as you can. I'm hoping to organize a class action law suit and there is STRENGTH IN NUMBERS! I hope you join AJ. Your knowledge on this subject is invaluable and you could be the key. I have talked to an attorney who is willing to take this on provided there are enough of us to make it worth his while. If we can unite the case will be heard in Manhattan, New York. Don't delay!!! We all need each and every one of us to be a part of this because now its gotten big, really big.

 

Hello People! First good news of the year!

AJRagno, I filed a complaint a while ago with NHTSA just as your E-Mail said. I had the job done on both the lower intake manifold gasket and the timing cover gasket. So far, no problems. I had to pay for the work, because at the dealer they said my truck was not included on the recall, but it is OK if it has saved my engine. I have all receipts on hand if needed, and he is spreading the word to every 1997-1998 4.2 owner that he knows.

FordsaysTough, count me in. Maybe we can get reimbursed this time.
