V-6 max speed
I'd say it's possible... you had to have had a major stretch of road to get it to 130, though. Neal can only run to 136 or so with his N/A 5.4L. I've had mine to 115 with room for a little more. I don't want to push this tank past that, though.

OK well...due to financial reasons my truck isn't goin to eb mine prolly till spring......I am considering doing the 5.0 swap second....first get some sway bars and shocks....130mph....not too much but a lot for a V6 truck, damn my lil car could do 130easily(probe gt). Now how do the chevys and dodges do...anybody know
124 on all motor! In order to go that fast you must have to have a whole bunch of mods like:
Ported Throttle body
Mac Intake
Fordchip Flip-chip
Straight Pipe exhaust
ASP Pulleys
Electic Fan
Centerforce Stage 1 Clutch
Powertrax Lock-Right Locker

I have only been to the track once. I ran against my friends taurus SHO. I had a very bad reaction time. I had a .978 but still ran a 16.1 with just chip intake and exhaust.
he beat me with a .576 reaction time and a 16.0 in the 1/4. the fastest I have had my truck is about 123 with no wind and slightly down hill. on the flat roads I can get 118 at about 4700 RPM. thats pretty good. just imagin if we could redline 5th gear. we could get about a buck 50 and then some out of these trucks.
