It Works! Omg

Oh my God it works! I put the 97 expo gauge cluster in and it works flawlessly. No glitches. I used the Ford Service CD and it helped alot. It is really weird to look at all the small gauges on the left. That may not be a big deal to you XLT boys, to us poor XL guys this is huge. Everyone wanting a tach on 97-98 should be searching Ebay for one. I paid $83 for this one.

I am glad to hear that you got it in...How hard was it to do the install....What do you need to hook it up to the tranny?

nothing to tranny, I ASSuMe it is all electronic. There three plugs across the back of cluster; you simply unsnap and reinstall in new cluster. I have an auto, and the gear indicator slides in and out of cluster..so I actually used mine old indicator and put one I bought back on my original. I am going to clean it up and Ebay it. I will take photos of plugs Thursday and post in my gallery along with finished result.
