took my completely STOCK 02 f150 v-6 to the track for the 1st time.

my best run was 17.897@78.548

my reaction time was a bit slow due to it being my first time.. I made it to the final 8 in the brackets, was a blast. I will be back!!

 

cool man...wait till you start doing mods, then you'll be addicted. I still haven't taken mine to the track but I wil soon.

Oh yeah...is your truck a stick or auto?

 

its an auto.. but no mods for me.. Its a lease truck. I am gonna trade it for a lightening or the new cobra in about a year. so I will settle for this right now!

 

I remember the old days of my 00' Auto... 17.221 @ 82.xxxmph was my best I could muster.

I think you had your vehicle driver mode module set to 'Ms. Daisy'? Try the 'John FORCE' setting. It's more fun.
A third grade girl towing my truck uphill on her bike could beat that time. No wonder you have a distaste for Auto's.

That or you had your gear shifl lever in second when you launched. (hehehe.)

Next time you take and auto to the track. . .make sure you have all 6 plug wires attached. It helps torque and hp numbers greatly.!

The best I could get out of my truck was a 16.73 @ 83mph....I should've had a v/6.....lol
