New Underdrive Pulleys Now Available!
To All,
For all of you that have been waiting for the underdrive pulleys for your 4.2 V-6's, not just the older trucks but all the way up thru the 2002's, they have finally arrived!!
We commissioned the manufacturing of these parts quite some time ago, and this has been talked about for a long time. Up until now there were only a couple of 4.2 V6 F-150's that had them, and those were just the trucks that were used for prototyping this pulley. Now they are finally manufactured and actually available for immediate shipment, so the wait is finally over!
Due to the design of the 4.2 V-6 crank pulley, the underdrive pulley also includes a new harmonic balancer, as it is a 1-piece unit integrating both parts, the harmonic balancer and the actual crank pulley.
For quite some time we searched for someone who was already manufacturing this part, but nobody was. And nobody would, due to the start-up expenses to get the product designed, tested & manufactured. We worked with literally every "name" in the business trying to get them to make them, but the big-name pulley manufacturers refused to make it a standard part and add it to their catalogs on their own. Most said there was little to no demand for V-6 F-150 underdrive pulleys, we obviously disagree. Sometimes you have to look beyond the bean counters and just give people what they want and need. But nobody else would make it, so we commissioned the manufacturing of this part ourselves.
They have actually been advertised on ASP's web site for some time now, but have not actually shipped until just this week, when we took delivery of our first production run.

Yep, old news but a definate plus. 7.6rwhp and 7rwtq I got.
Remember, without me... production would've been alot later. I've had mine on since JANUARY 9TH!!!
PS... I am selling my Custom Anodized Blue Race Pulley to go with the underdrive unit. It give's an affective 50% underdrive and you will get an additional 3-4rwhp gain on top of what the underdrive gives. I have no more use for this. Here's a pic:
