More Power 2

I recently put some 265 75 16 Dueler A/T's on my 4.2 v6 F-150. I can feel the loss in power since i did have 235's before the change. I am asking anyone if they know what i can do to boost the HP but not spend a fortune. i am thinking about a chip or computer or even a supercharger. please help

Those Duelers are great tires. You made a great choice. Don't know much about the chip or super charger but am interested in finding out.

You need to change your gears to get back where you was as the biger tires changed the gear ratio.

Yes... gears are the only thing to bring you back or beyond where you were.

Gears will not give you any horsepower. Gears will change your torque multiplication in a sense. lower gears will plant your torque to your wheels differently than higher gear.

I'd recommend going with Ford Motorsport 4.10 gears to make up with your new tire size. You can find them at Lone Star Ford. Then you will need to have a shop install them. Total price of gears and install should be ~ $600 or less.

Then I'd get a Fordchip from Pete Cambell.

You can give me an email... I live in Houston as well and can help you get setup right.
