Weight Savings in Racing

Oh... In case you want to know

the wieght of a XL Regular cab Shortbed with all fluids is 3,990 or 4,000lbs.

a full tank of gas weighs 200lbs... so at a 1/4 tank the truck is 150lbs lighter so the weight of the truck is 3,850lbs minus driver.

other items to take off with their weight:

Windshield washer fliud container w/ pump and hoses = 8 lbs.
spare tire = 55 lbs.
passenger seat from 60/40 bench = 52 lbs.
Spare tire winch = 5 lbs.
1/4 tank compared to full tank = 150 lbs.
front sway bar = 30 lbs.
remove muffler and tailpipe from y pipe back = 25 lbs.
tire jack and components = 7 lbs.
Tailgate = 35 lbs.

Total weight savings from Curb Weight = 367lbs.

My RACE weight is usually ~3,830 with me in it.
Street weight with everythin on w/ me in it 4,200 lbs.

Just some race info I should share
