where the clamp is on the filter housing the right side where the tube goes into the fender, if i take that piece out and just remove the small tube that goes into the fender but keep the big black plastic surrounding the filter, will that let more air in? or would i have to do away with the whole plastic piece that is on the right side of the clamp
