Hello All, I started the V6 bent connecting rod thread, and have gotten a wealth of good info from all. Now at this point the rebuilt V6 is installed , but it is making a popping sound in the water lines, the water level is full and it is not overheating, it was proffesionally installed along with all new hoses. the engine itself is running good, but we havent driven it more than about ten miles yet, installed two new thermostats with no help. My mechanic still has the truck, and is going to do a hydro carbon test on it. If anyone has any ideas PLEASE let me know.
