Ya its a muffler and pipes but hey i don't think the gibson is much more than that is it ? I mean it does not look like it is in the pics i have seen. I just got it on today and it sounds good...to me atleast its not loud like a v-8 but hey its not a v-8 so im happy with it. As for the performance im not sure. I just cranked it up and went home it feel like it has a little more get up and go. Should I reset my computer and if so how ?.

Thanks

I to have been thinking about magnaflow, can you tell a difference in sound. I am looking for a little more exhuast tone but I dont want to be like a Civic blasting my fart pipe! Hey, Syeth where did you get those 20's, are they pretty heavy, someone told me that some aftermarket lightning wheels weight almost 100lbs each.

The sound is much better than stock hehe. I can say it does not sound like a fart pipe but it does not sound like a v-8 either so it sound pretty good to me. I got my wheels from the wheelexchange on ebay. Great customer service. Yes the rims are heavy as he!! like 75 lbs i think but hey i have a v-6 and they look great its fast but they sure can take a curve. Anyways thanks for the imput

reseting your comp.

Syeth,

exhaust will not give you that much of a power gain in the first place...but reseting your computer should help your power come a little quicker instead of waiting the tank of gas for the computer to learn it. to do so just :

1. disconnect battery
2. turn lights on for 5 minutes (this drains all the power)
3. reconnect battery
4. start your truck!!

to tell if you reset it your clock should be back to 12. also, you might get a rough idol for a little.(first time your start should be the extent of that) but don't worry about it. hope that helps. good luck!

kudo's on your new exhaust syeth! I'm going to try the spintech gts side exit exhaust system & jba headers. Hopefully that will help me out a little bit.

later,

Eric
