I started off with a Flowmaster myself. After hearing peoples thoughts on both the Flowmaster and the Magnaflow i decided to switch to the Magnaflow. It was well worth it. I notice my truck accelerates much more smoothly with it than the Flow and its not obnoxiously loud it just has a mellow tone when you drive but when you step on the gas you will definately hear it.

magnaflow

I have had a Flowmaster since I had 300 miles on my truck. I now have over 39000. I have been thinking about changing to Magnaflow for a while. Just spoke with a local dealer today, and I have decided to get it done. I hear the Maganflows are supposed to be better on the low end anyway.

i am switching as soon as i have the money to. right now i have a gibson super truck. i really like how it looks with the side exit and all...but the sound and lack of low end tourque have convinced me i have made the wrong chioce. its a good system, don't get me wrong. its just i would prefer a little more power and a little less noise. i say go for the magnaflow. seems to be the best one on the market for our trucks as of now.

magnaflow

I just took the flowmaster 40 off yesterday and had a magnaflow put on. Glad to get rid of the drone. Seems that I got the low end back that I lost with the Flowmaster.
