Ignition

Anybody ever think about putting an ignition amplifier on or does any one have one already?

Check it out at:
https://www.truckperformance.com/pro...order=&sf4=MSD

Any comments on this?

I have thought about it. I heard they really wake up these v6's and they get rid of any lag when you try to accelerate but it hasnt been on my top list of things i need or want but it will be mine.

I'm thinking about wither the "Budget MSD Blaster Ignition Amplifier " or the "Capacitive Discharge MSD 6A Ignition Amplifier ". The second boasts more power it's almost $100 more.

Unfortunately I don't know anything about that....I sent an email to summit so I should hear back from them tomorrow sometime. On Truckperformance, for the "Capacitive Discharge MSD 6A Ignition Amplifier " it says
The 6A will work with virtually any vehicle as long as it has a 12-18 volt electrical system. It can be triggered using breaker points, a magnetic pickup or the output of an electronic amplifier. All necessary parts and wiring instructions are included.
Maybe it's more expensive because they include whatever that "triggering" thing is.
