Lately when running my truck for the first 10 minutes I get a lot of knocking. What is that from? Just started this winter.

 

What u are experiencing is common here in canada, its from the cold weather,fords, chevys,dodges , they all do it up here its from the cold. My ford does it for the first 20-30 seconds that it runs, I had an I6 for 5 years and those were very tough engines ,it always knocked in the winter time at first start up.
