Headers are on the way..finally!!

Just ordered JBA Headers for my 4.2!

I will have them wrapped (heat wrapped) and installed in about a week or so..

can't wait!! I'm also getting my chip re-programmed for the headers! woohoo!

I'll let you guys know how it turns out with updates, I've been talking about doing this for a long long time

if you would be so kind

write down notes as you do the swap (problems, time it takes, what to watch out for) and take pictures so that the rest of us won't have as many problems as you

Thanks.

maybe you shouldn't wrap them

You might not want to wrap them, since that voids the warranty on JBA's headers. I ordered mine a little while ago, and I'm going to go with heat sleeves instead. That way, if something screws up, I can take them off and send them back.

yeah I just completed step #2 and sent them back out to be jet hot coated..

they look sweet!!

I was surprised at how light they are, I was expecting big chunks of heavy steel, not the case, they are very light!

Can't wait to get em' bolted on..

one thing I should mention to anyone else getting them.

I was thinking of getting my chip re-programmed for the headers and I was given a nice suggestion.

Get someone with a dyno who can custom program the chip to best air/fuel ratio rather than just get a more aggresive program.. it will take advantage of the headers by a long shot
