i dont have an expensive truck all mine has is a sport package and i got that cheaper than a reg xl. i would LOVE a blower so i can hang and pass the v8 guys. i got the 6 for money issues as well. i got the truck right after i grad from hs and knew i was going to a univ. so i knew i did not want a big payemt every month

Exclamation

A blown V6 can get the same fuel economy as the regular V6 while cruising (because you will stay off of the boost).

It is also capable of whupping a V8 while on boost.

NOW, if you can get fuel economy you need for long trip and power you need for getting your rox off, how is that not ideal?

@ least that's my reason why I will be taking the V6 over the V8.

P.S. The v6 will make the fart pipe sound better too (see my other threads)

Talleywacker, where did XANMAN get/order his super charger kit from???
Or was it a custom job? And how much did it cost?

Thanks

Custom setup... not that expensive, kits only cost ~ $2500. all your buying in the kit is bolt on easy install, devolpment costs, and your paying a profit for who's selling it ~$500 for a grand total of $3,700.

You can buy the vortech sq brand new for $1,750 Do you think it will cost another 2k to custom fit it to your truck.... NO. You can build it yourself for ~ $2,500-2,800!
