Thinking about a 4x4 XLT extended cab with a V-6. Has anyone pulled much with one. I have a 19' Bass boat.
And how about gas mileage? Good are bad? Thanks for any input.

 

I have a 97 f-150 v-6 5speed 2wheel drive and pull a 18 foot bassboat with no problem i have 308 gears considdering 355 or 373 i get 22 mpg highway 16 city and 13 city pulling boat>

 

i have no problem pulling a 19 foot, 2200 lb skii boat. i have the 5 speed with 308 diff also, i just shift at the right time and never have a problem except on Chiracco Summit, those of us here in cali who go to Havasu know about that one.
