ANY V6r's OUT THERE HAVE THE FLOWMASTER 40 SI/DO SET-UP ON YOUR TRUCKS? IF SO, HOW DO YOU LIKE IT? WHAT DOES IT SOUND LIKE? DID YOU GET ANY PERFORMANCE GAINS?

 

I have the Flowmaster 40 series on my truck. I run a single inlet dual outlet with a Y pipe on the end. It sounds great! I love it! Although if you don't like loud things or if you have to go anywhere quietly this is not the system for you! Also your gas mileage is going to go to hell. Mine did. Great system though!! Yea i have a 40 series si/do with the lightning exhaust tips exiting out in front of the passenger rear tire. I didnt notice a change in my gas mileage and maybe a slight increase in performance. It sounds nice at idle and when just crusing around and accelerating lightly but when i get on it, it gets a little to high pitched for me. Im thinking of going with the Maganaflows pretty soon.

 

I have the delta flow 40 series si/do. Less interior noise it's more outside then inside. It is loud enough not to get in trouble. Yes i ordered the regular flowmaster and the punks sent me the delta flow. I didn't know I had a friend of mine put it on and he told me it was the delta flow. Already on my truck so I can't complain. I'm not worried about it, I got a more expensive muffler for about 20 to 25 dollars less. I happy though it sounds great alot of people ask if it's a V8 but I look at them like they are stupid or something. I also get alot of attention for other drivers like they wanna race. But like I said it's a good muffler.
