Lately I haven't been driving the truck to crazy on the streets and haven't given thoughts to many of the revs thrown at me but last night I couldn't resist. This would be my last race before I put the 80mm maf on. Here's what hapened. I was on robinson in Norman heading east when a younger kid revs up next to me while crusing in his dodge dakota R/T. i tried to just drive but he was persistant so I proceeded to signal him to slow down and wait on the next red, he obliged. He asked me what I had and I told him just a little ole v6, he was like and I quote "dude you are gonna loose so bad, this has the biggest V8 dodge can put in here, I'm gonna totally beat your ***" . It just so happened that i had just spent 37.50 ($3.75 a lb.)at a nearby exhaust shop, which i returned to shortly The light turned green and I eased er out trying to keep glued and he had about a half truck length when I pushed the button caught second and just left him standing still! He was so embarrased, we pulled over at a grocery store and he wanted me to prove I had a v6, so when I opened the hood he nearly fainted from all the stainless lines and goodies-it was worth the race to see his face when i popped the hood.
