Cool Gas

I live in Texas. I have found that Shell 93 octane works best in my truck. The only mod's I have are K&N,Superchip. Exxon makes it run like a one legged monkey. Chevron and Diamond Shamrock are okay. Haven't tried Texaco. What are some of your experiances with the different brands???

the only noteable experience with a gas brand was with stop & go. since they are so dang cheep all the time I use to fill my first truck(87 F150) up there all the time. after a little over a year on nothing but their gas I had a bad fuel starvation problem when I knew I had plenty of gas. Come to find out their gas was so filthy it clogged part of my fuel lines between the filter and the tank selector valve. I have never gone back to stop & go again for gas.

I currently use Texaco(mainly cause thats the credit card I have) and for years now I have not had any problems. Oh, I use fuel injector cleaner every oil change on all my trucks including when I had my 87.

It seems anything less than 93 octane makes my truck detonate like crazy. All the stores around here sell 91, cept one who has the 93. Now in Arizona the 92 they sell is has all that added crap and made my truck run fatter. But by far the best gas that my truck absolutely loves is SUNOCO 110. My truck loves that yummy, smellin good, purple stuff....
