I currently have my 06 f150 reg cab 4.2 having issues getting my lost title back found a 2006 F150 fx4 with no motor but body is sound would it be too outrageous to pull the trans out of it and drop my 4.2 and trans it

I would continue to pursue the replacement title. There has to be a way.

 

Not possible. A 2wd trans won't fit in a 4wd. Electronics are also not compatible.

 

I would get the title back.
