2016 F150 rough start and shaky acceleration

Hello, I have a 2016 F150 3.5 Ecoboost 40k miles that I bought 3 months ago. 3 days after I got it, it broke down because the vct solenoids went out. I had them fixed, but ever since then, the engine is loud and shaky when I start it and the idle is never steady. The acceleration at low rpms (1000 - 1500) is also really rough and bogs down. I had a tune up a month ago the helped for a week but it is having the same problem all over again. There are no check engine lights on.

Any ideas would be appreciated thanks.

Yes I had the work done at the dealership that sold me the truck. It is certified pre owned so still under bumper to bumper warranty.

I know that the vct solenoids usually go out from bad oil or the wrong oil and the dealership charged me 300 dollars for the tune up so I don't want to go back to them anymore. I was hoping to go to a different dealership with an idea of something for them to check.

TFL truck did a video of high mileage ford trucks. One owner had a high mileage 3.5 ecoboost , I think 2013, and he said the throttle body had to be replaced about every 30,000 miles. I think he said the first one lasted to about 60,000 miles. Just wild guessing here but you might want to ask about throttle body failure.

I saw that video as well, I will ask them to check it out. I will update when I get the engine checked

I took it and got the oil changed again even though the dealership said they changed the oil after the vct solenoids replacement. They also said they changed the engine air filter and they had not so I figured I would do both. The shaky idle and the rough acceleration has stopped since the oil change. The old oil that gunked up my vct solenoids must have been still kicking around in my engine. Just an update.
