Cruise has never been hooked up since I’ve had the truck and decided to hook it up and came across a problem with the cable.. the cable is to short about an half of an inch and won’t reach the throttle body so I tried to adjust it and the cable has grooves to where adjust it and put the locking tab in those grooves but when I connect it on the throttle body the cable has no more grooves to adjust and when I put it on the last groove it is still to short and holds the throttle open.. I checked the pulley in the servo and pulley works fine but just not sure if this is even the right cable and was put in by the last owner.. any ideas on how to fix it or just go buy a new cable and also from what I’ve read is there a recall on the cruise control system itself..
