I just did this and found the drivers side valve cover removal was very simple and quick .remive all bolts, lift inside edge first TIL cleared valvetrain and slide out through front.I assume you mean passenger side , the difficult (if you want to call it that ) side is the passenger side .passenger side you undo all valve cover bolts , do by feel to get at rear bolt use a short extension , undo brackets holding sensors and vac lines, no need to remove any connectors or lines as they can be gently slid up out of way as a whole , , remove PCV (good time to replace pcv valve with ford part ) valve from valve cover rear , and lift valve cover inside edge up to clear valvetrain then slide valve cover out through the rear .no need to remove upper plenum.one lil tip use gasket adhesive to hold valve cover gasket in place when reinstalling as it’s impossible to see if gasket is staying lined up .this is a great time to polish , powder coat or paint valvecovers.
