okay folks I have an 08 f150 xl 2wd with the 4.2l in it and when I start it no matter how hot of cold the truck is it has trouble starting and the codes read misfire on cylinder 1 and cylinder 5 but when I delete them and run it down the road and back it shows cylinder 2 and cylinder 4 and I deleted them one more time just to see what it would show and after that it shows the code multiple misfires I have changed plugs wires coil fuel pump booster pump fuel filter and I have ran out of options so some please help

 

Have you looked at the FPDM?

 

Yes, the FPDM can cause issues. I would check it for corrosion.
