Red face v6 vs lightning

WELL I test drove the heck out of a lighting(stock 2000). I was not impressed...
1st ..-Very heavy It was like driving a tank.
2nd.. NO pep- MY v6 had more spunk off the line.
3rd When the thing SHIFTED into 2nd it was so smooth
I dont think my neck jerked backed once.....

any ways maybee w/a chip and mods lightning might strike!!!!!

The day a V6 can hang with a lightning while not going over or close to the $28,000 mark in mods including the price of the truck while looking as badass as they are will be a great day in automotive engineering. Im not saying it cant be done, in fact i would like to see it but with all the mods you would have to do to it it would probably just be better to get a lightning in the first place. I would still want one but my V6 will be good for now.

The lightning is no-doubt quick, at least the one I drove was!! but my 2000 4.2 5speed gets 24mph and has plenty of ***** for me.

LOL, Im not doubting that someone could get a V6 to hang with a lightning, Lilbuddy. Eventhough it'll be fun building up a v6, for 28,000 and the price of a v6 you could of bought a lightning and modded it to hell and probably run 9's. All in all i would like my v6 to hang with a lightning one day. just 3500 more for that supercharger.
