OK i have a 98 f-150 v-6 4.2 liter automatic. i really dont know anything about enhancing my vehicle so can you guys tell me what i can do. i have been on here before but its been a while. and i mean tell me everything i can add to my truck to make it quicker look better and sound better. thanks

For some go fast parts the basic are and intake, exhaust, and a chip. The intake and exhaust are hard to choose cause everyone has different opinions on different brands. A Superchip is a must, even though you have to use 93 octane gas it adds alot more pep to your truck and it being an automatic it will enhance the shifting. You can add a supercharger but only one is made for our truck. To make it look good i would say put some 20's on it, do a 2-4 drop and put an aftermarket front bumper. This is just my opinion and you should do what you want, you may be the kind of person that would rather jack up their truck 5 inches and put some 33 swampers on it.

 

As for making your truck faster there is a whole world of performance out there for the V6. Ignition, chips, gears, exhaust, some good porting work, and there is always the option of a supercharger. But if you want to go a little further There is a small selection of cams, pistions, and even stroker kits for these engines. It all depends on how far you really want to go with your performance level.

As for enhancing the looks fo your truck that is all up tp you. There are many diffrent things you can do to your truck to enhancing the looks. Rims and tires, maybe a suspension drop or lift, bumper cover, roll pan, maybe some graphics down the side of the truck. It all is a matter of what you think looks good.
